Trained at Reigate College of Art, and gained the Surrey Diploma in Textile Design. She then worked for Heal Fabrics in London and later worked as Art Editor at an Oxford publisher.

Her exhibitions include the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, where she was selected by the Financial Times as one of the most promising newcomers, and the Royal Society of Miniatures Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. She now sells her work extensively in Europe and the USA. Her paintings have been purchased by private collectors all over the world.

Her latest works are representational landscapes in mixed media and incorporating gold and silver leaf.
