Beryl Cook
| Beryl Cook - OBE – Born 1926 - Died on 28th May 2008
Beryl Cook was one of Britain's most popular artist's. Undoubtedly she will be remembered as a great witty social observer, a recorder of what people wear and how they enjoy themselves. Her work is sold all over the world, Dawn French, Whoopie Goldberg, Jackie Collins are amongst her many fans. Beryl's Paintings are Exhibited at The New Museum of Modern Art Glasgow Scotland.
- Edward Lucie-Smith – I suspect Beryl's paintings will be remembered and cherished long after most 20th century artists are forgotten.
- London Evening Standard- In many ways Beryl Cook is the nicest thing to happen to British paintings for years.
- Beverley McNeill – "Beryl cook is to image as Victoria Wood is to word"
Beryl will be surely missed
